Grammarly

Grammarly is a third-party, automated grammar, proofreading, and writing revision tool for academic writing. Grammarly is a learning tool that works one-on-one with a student to develop writing skills, reinforce proper revision habits, and prevent plagiarism.

Grammarly will not fix your writing for you; it is up to you to incorporate Grammarly's feedback and decide what suggestions are most appropriate.

Getting Started:

  1.  Go to grammarly.com/enterprise/signup
  2.  Provide your name, @pit.edu email, and set up a password.
  3.  Check your inbox and spam folders for the invitation email and click on the activation link.


Note: If you already have a free account, you would need to log out and log in again at grammarly.com/enterprise/signin. The Pennsylvania Institute of technology provides free access to Grammarly Premium to all students and faculty members.

PIT OverDrive - eBooks, audiobooks, and streaming videos

  • Libby is the one-tap reading app from our library where you can borrow ebooks and digital audiobooks for free. You can stream books with Wi-Fi or mobile data, or download them for offline use and read anytime, anywhere. All you need to get started is a P.I.T. library account. Need help with your P.I.T. library account? Contact library@pit.edu for help. 
  • The free Libby app is the easiest way to get started with ebooks and audiobooks from the Pennsylvania Institute of Technology library. All you need to do is download the app and sign into our library using your PIT login credentials to begin browsing the digital collection.
