The Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program at Pennsylvania Institute of Technology is committed to serving the local community by providing the training and education needed to fulfill the duties of a sonographer. The program goal is to prepare competent entry level general sonographers in cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) in the abdomen-extended and OB/GYN domains

This library guide, or LibGuide, will help DMS students work through the research process, discover, and access scholarly resources from the PIT Library. There are links to Diagnostic Medical Sonography journals, databases, eBooks, websites, and our online catalog.

There are links to websites that will be helpful when setting up research papers following APA format and constructing in-text citations and a reference list. See "Evaluating Material" and "Citing Sources".

If you have any questions about the resources found in this guide, please do not hesitate to contact the library and speak with a librarian, at library@pit.edu.
